The Coach House. (Pontefract)
The Coach House at Pontefract sells a wide range of furniture, ranging from antique and retro, to shabby chic, painted, up-cycled and contemporary, together with a good selection of decorative items.
The stock here is varied, with a nice array of items, the main emphasis being on shabby chic and painted furniture.

The Saltaire Vintage Shop. (Saltaire)

A small shop in the lovely town of Saltaire, around 200 yards from Salts Mill, selling an eclectic mix of vintage and retro items. When I visited stock included a selection of mid century pottery, china and glassware, kitchenalia, vintage clothing, ephemera, vintage luggage and more. I found the prices to be reasonable and managed to buy a couple of pieces.

Situated just down the road from The Saltaire Vintage Shop on Victoria Road in Saltaire, Ivy & Co. have plenty to offer the vintage & retro enthusiast: 1970’s record players and vinyl, books, mid century pottery and glass, luggage, artworks, mid century furniture, vintage clothing and more. Run by Paul Myers, is Grandpa’s Basement in Shipley near Bradford. Situated in a basement just off Briggate, although not huge, there’s a wide variety of stock on offer here, including antique, retro and collectable furniture and decorative items.

E. L. Schofield & Son was established in Pudsey in 1920 by the late Edward Lance Schofield. Steve Riley joined the company in 1976; whilst training in the workshop alongside Mr. Lance Schofield he studied for three years at Jacob Kramer College and attained a City & Guilds Advanced Craft Qualification. Many years later he returned to the college as a part time lecturer in Traditional Furniture Making. Steve is now running the business and deals directly with initial customer enquiries through to completion of the work. He also oversees the highly skilled workforce. E. L. Schofield pride themselves on offering a professional service to all customers.
Their primary business is antique furniture repair, French polishing and restoration, however they have retro, antique and collectable pieces for sale also.

The Collectors Centre. (Otley)
Run by Barbara, The Collectors Centre is situated in Kirkgate Arcade, Otley. Stock consists of a range of collectable and vintage items including die-cast toys and models, watches, pottery, tins, old tools and more.
Barbara also has a nice, nostalgic display of vintage packaging on show at one end of the shop, however, these are for display only and not for sale.

The Retro Boutique. (Leeds)
As the name implies, The Retro Boutique, focuses on the retro in the main showroom, with vintage fashion and collectables on the upper floor. When I visited, stock included retro furniture, industrial retro lighting, leather chesterfield chairs, vintage luggage and trunks, retro radios and record players and some reproduction items, all in all an interesting selection. On street parking is available within a minutes walk, with cafes and bars nearby for a bite to eat.
