Navenby Antiques Centre. (Navenby, nr Lincoln)

Dean and I have been dealing in Antiques since 2004. My background is in mathematics teaching, and Dean’s is as an HGV driver. We found a common interest in antiques, and decided to go self-employed and begin our own antiques business together. We initially rented units in antiques centres around Lincolnshire, and in 2007 we decided to take the plunge and buy premises to start our own. We opened for business in our current premises in November 2007 with three salerooms over two floors. In the following year we opened two more salerooms and a courtyard garden. In October 2011, the final phase of building work was completed with the opening of a further upstairs saleroom and The Lounge Café.
