Pendle Antiques Centre. (Sabden)

Albert  Mill Antiques & Interiors. (Helmshore)

Run by Bernard Brown and Oliver Puchoras, Albert Mill Antiques is a nicely laid out centre covering the top 2 floors of an old mill. Plenty to see here with a good variety of items on offer.  Antique & retro furniture, pottery & porcelain, shabby chic & French furniture, rustic bygones and many more collectable and decorative pieces.

There is a nice range of mid century pieces to suit the retro enthusiast, with a very good example of an “English Rose” 1950’s aluminium kitchen on show when I visited (*sold however).

Albert Mill Antiques also offer a furniture restoration service &  have Walkers Tea Room on site.

KarLen Antiques & Interiors. (Burnley)

Karlen Antiques & Interiors, with over 9,000 square feet of floor space, is home to 100 stalls selling a wide variety of antique, retro and collectable items of furniture and smalls. Everything from Victorian, Edwardian and 20th century furniture to collectable pottery and porcelain, glass and decorative items. They also offer a worldwide container shipping service.

Holden Wood Antiques Centre. (Haslingden)

Our antique centre is situated in the Lancashire countryside on the edge of Haslingden in the Rossendale Valley. The listed building is a former church, St Stephens. Holden Wood Antique Centre has over 35 dealers in antiques, collectables, contemporary ceramic art, antique furniture, clocks watches, jewellery, militaria, paintings and books. The antique centre offers a great backdrop to its clients and also its dealers, along with its beautiful stained glass windows and wonderful stonework, it provides a calm and tranquil atmoshere.

Set in a beautiful old church, Holden Wood Antique Centre is a nice place to visit.

Plenty of good quality items on offer here. Antique furniture, jewellery and silver, clocks and watches, vintage tins, books, die-cast toys, antique ceramics, militaria and a very good selection of contemporary UK Art Pottery. Well worth a visit when in the area. Parking and cafe on site.

Samlesbury Hall Antiques. (Samlesbury, Preston)

Set in a fabulous, half timbered, black and white medieval house, built in 1325, the antique centre is spread over two floors.

Upstairs is “Long Gallery Furniture”:-

Housed in the Long Gallery and Southworth room we have a wide range of affordable quality antique furniture, presented in inspiring room settings. From a complete dining set to a single chair, with ever changing stock, you are sure to find the perfect piece for your home.

The ground floor is home to “West Wing Antiques”:-

Housing a fine array of clocks, fine porcelain, glassware, collectables and objets d’art to choose from there is something for everyone. A recent addition to the West Wing is a vintage section containing clothing, jewellery and accessories, enabling you to achieve the highly fashionable vintage look.

Well worth a visit to see the magnificent Samlesbury Hall alone. I have only been once, earlier this year, and managed to buy a few collectable pieces. It’s quite a distance from me, but I will certainly visit again when in the area.

Bygone Times. (Eccleston, Nr Chorley)

Bygone Times is home to literally hundreds of display cabinets and pitches, selling a wide range of goods, there’s plenty to look through, the place is quite large to say the least.

There is also a “Penny Arcade”, with a nice selection of vintage arcade machines, and an exhibition  set up as a room from the second world war era, both of which are worth a look.
